Utah trip

Me and Mitch went to Utah for about 8 days recently. We drove by way of Las Vegas and were fortunate to spend the night each way in Henderson at my Grandma By's. Mitchell did great on the drive both going and coming. I certainly did my fair share of singing and entertaining as much as feasible from the driver's seat. However, I also had plenty of time to listen to a couple of great books on cd, while Mitchell built blocks, colored, slept, and looked at flashcards.
It was really nice to be in Utah with my family. It was great to stay at my parents house and Jon's family was there too. Of course my other siblings already live there. We had a great time hanging out. The only downside was that Todd couldn't be there. He was missed in many ways!

Monkey Island. Again, the face is accurate. Side note- Curtis pulled this house down on me and Mitch and himself. It was the scariest 5 minutes of my life. I was screaming for help as these two young toddlers were scared to death themselves! Thankfully, eventually, the air made it's way to the collapse and propped it back up.

Mitch perked up in the last ten minutes of our time at Monkey Island. The Provo Beach Resort. Awesome. Go. Fun for all ages. Mitch insisted on the carousel at least a half dozen times.Visiting with Todd's brother, Warren and his family. Kisha, Austin, and Cardon. Visiting with Grandma and Grandpa great.Mitch's favorite kind of toy...anything with wheels!Mitch discovered the joy of cartoons while at Grandma and Grandpa's. Too bad we don't have television at home! Some of the cutest nieces around!
