After Todd's family reunion we traveled the great distance from Mapleton to Highland for my family reunion. My brother Jon's family was in town and since Kenna and Clark already live in Utah, it was a family reunion by default- although slightly less formal than Todd's family reunion. We had a great time together, especially enjoying many of the Freedom Festival activities.
One event I did not get pics of at either Todd's reunion or mine was when we greatly enjoyed the Veterans Pool water park in Provo. That place is perfect for young kids. The kids area is huge and just right, and the two big waterslides they have are awesome exercise and good fun! We appreciated that all the kids could ride the slides as long as they rode with an adult. Mitch and all his cousins really loved going down, and me and Todd got some good exercise climbing all those stairs!
Todd made a new airplane during both of our family reunions. He got to test it several times, and after ironing out some kinks, he's happy with his new toy!
One of many times at the local elementary school testing out the new plane. It can go like 90 mph!
It was an early morning, but we really enjoyed taking Mitch to the hot air balloon festival in Provo.
Do you see the baby bump? I think I was about 14 weeks pregnant at the time.
We greatly enjoyed the dinosaur museum at Thanksgiving Point, especially getting in for free! Mitch was scared out of his mind at first, but we assured him that the dinosaurs were not real.
Mitch's cousins on mom's side of the family. Two more on the way- both boys!
This was one of the last sights at the museum (can you imagine if this was at the beginning? creepers!). Mitch is saying "Rar!"
Kenna's girls at the 4th of July Parade in Provo.
Jon's boys at said parade.
