In other news, today is April Fool's Day. I've never understood this day. I'm just not a prankster I suppose. Each year I feel the pressure to pull a prank on someone, but I always fail to plan ahead and therefore nothing noteworthy is born on this day of lame. The way I feel about April Fool's is the same feeling I have about Halloween. I only don't like these holidays (can you call April Fool's a holiday?) because I fail to plan. However, I had a great Halloween 2009 because we actually planned our costumes. So I can't help but believe that April Fool's would turn into a non day of lame if I planned a prank. Next year. Watch out.
In other news...Todd and I are currently deciding between two PhD programs. One in Merced, California and one in State College, Pennsylvania. We are heavily leaning towards Merced. We've talked to lots of people about it and it just sounds like a great choice for us.
Mitch is sitting on his own for lengthy amounts of time. I'm working with him on getting from the sitting position to the crawling position. He also says "mom" quite regularly, however, he doesn't really know that I am the "mom." It melts my heart every time.
Here are some random pictures.
This is what the helmet doctor puts on his head each time we go in for a visit.
Mitch isn't crawling quite yet because he first wanted to figure out the "reverse" gear before kicking it into "drive."
A park in Washington. Yes, we will be at the park everyday when it gets warm because Mitch loves the swings!
