Infectious

Nope, not a smile, not a laugh. Actual infections running around here. My boys have been stomach sick. As for me, an eye infection showed up to play. I've disinfected our toys like 3 times in as many weeks. I wonder if this is how life is going to be for the next several years. Did I give birth to a petri dish? This is what happens to families with young children. The child becomes a disease on wheels...or feet.
Todd actually scheduled his thesis defense. That means it's almost over, right? Mitch is learning to army crawl which is just a hoot and a holler. Oh, and he got his helmet removed a few weeks back. Wow! It worked wonders.
I can't believe that May is almost over. This means that June is practically here, July is around the corner, and before you know it, we'll be in California. Just promise me we won't live in the ghetto. For some reason, I'm convinced we will. All I want is a dishwasher. I feel like I spend half my day washing dishes.
Well anyway, here's some pictures of our son. Why just him? Well, I'm a mom, and that's what we do.
May 17th, 2010 at 3:17pm. 9 months old exactly. The day that he has been in the world as long as he was growing inside of me. Crazy.
Just a little reminder of how he started out.
Oh! the places you'll go!
Sportin the new shades.
Look at Mitch's face. He looks like he's really digging in. Todd doesn't seem to be phased.
Are there any words?

It's about time!

Mitchell finally started sleeping through the night a couple weeks ago. What a relief! It happened right before the deadline my doctor gave me of "8 months old". My doc pretty much said if he wasn't sleeping through the night by 8 months, he's got me trained rather than me having him trained. It was a long time coming, but we've arrived.
Time for another baby? Ha! However, we moved him from his cradle to his pack n play a few nights ago because he was just getting too squirmy for his cradle and it took a couple of rough nights, but I think we're back to peaceful slumber.

In other news, have I mentioned that we're moving to California? Well we are. In August.

Time for a new bed.

Nope, not crawling. Not even interested. Rolling gets me where I want to go, thank you.

Poker face.
